The Motor Vehicle Idling (Fixed Penalty) Ordinance is now in effect
Super:

A driver who idles a vehicle engine
for more than 3 minutes in aggregate
within a 60-minute period
will be liable to a fine of $320
VO:

If a driver causes the engine of an idling vehicle to operate for more than three minutes in aggregate in any 60–minute period,
Traffic Wardens or Environmental Protection Inspectors may issue a Penalty Notice to the driver.
